Colour Changes Everything

Colour is one of the easiest ways to make a difference to your life. It has the power to change our moods, and emotions. Imagine how different it would be if, instead of walking down grey concrete streets in a big grey city, the streets were full of colour, every wall would be different, and something as simple as walking to the shops would be a joy.

The front of this vegan restaurant in Madrid has been completely transformed by fos, with nothing Duct tape, and a few pineapples! This is a prefect example of how a bit of colour can change even the most boring door (and wall) into a striking feature that makes passers by want to go inside.

Can you imagine how boring this building block in the New York China Town district would be if it were grey? The colours make it look like su a happy, fun place :) This amazing photograph is available to buy on etsy from LJAPhotography

If you feel like bright colour on the walls are too overpowering, then keep the walls white, and paint other features such as the doors! This is Manish Arora's dining room is his Paris home. View the whole home tour here

This is another great example of how just painting the doors can bring so much life to a space.

And finally- The Mirror of Glory! Who needs to paint walls when you have this little baby!! My mission now, is to find a nice big mirror I can gee a colourful makeover to... watch this space...
