Autumn Home Accessories 2014

Hello, Autumn. I've missed you! 

It's not that I don't love the Summer, it's just that there is something so special about Autumn. I love being warm and cosy by the fire while it's cold outside, and I love getting all bundled up to go outside! 

My favourite things about Autumn:
  • Cute knitted scarfs and hats
  • ALL knitwear in general
  • Log fires
  • Halloween
  • The smell of bonfires
  • Crunchy leaves, and beautiful colours
  • Pumpkin spiced lattes
  • Homemade stews and hot soups on a cold night
Autumn Inspired Interiors:

I put together a little mood board of home accessories inspired by the colours of Autumn. I love the different textures of these cushions, and with a few gold accessories these items would be an easy way to take a room from Summer to Autumn!

    Loving your Autumnal list! I think there's nothing better than snuggling up indoors, fire lit, hot chocolate in one hand, good book in the other, dog snoring nearby, blanket wrapped around me, feeling cosy, whilst the rain pelts the windows outside. Bliss! <3 Love the gold bowl and the gold tea light holder too! xx

      Thanks Alix, so glad you like it! I definitely agree with you about the rain, it somehow makes it even cosier inside, I think it's the sound :)

    I love the cushion with the stag on it and those little bird candle holders are so cute. I really like long walks in autumn on crispy leaves and snuggling up under a blanket with a hot chocolate when it's dark outside. Lianne x

      Yay, I'm glad you like them! I love those little birds too, so sweet and unique for candle holders. I bet they will look lovely with the glow from a candle in the evenings!
